Committee Member - Workforce Coordinator
 
The Workforce Coordinator is the individual responsible for overseeing the volunteers and staff within the club, this is not a line management role, but one that involves the collation and preparation of records of all the individuals who assume some recognised responsibility within the Club. The primary task is to liaise with other stakeholders (Head Coach, Chairman, Welfare Officer, Officials Secretary, Water polo Secretary, Synchro Secretary & Lifesaving Secretary) to update the workforce log annually.
 
Duties include:
 
• To act as main point of contact for volunteers and staff within the club.
• To work with the Committee and other stakeholders to review the Club’s triennial Workforce Development Plan.
• Working with other stakeholders to ensure the correct ‘training’ is organised for Club staff and volunteers.
• To maintain an update the existing log of Club workforce members for the purposes of the Swim Mark submission annually.
 
Qualities & Skill
 
A suitable individual will be naturally enthusiastic, have some experience of the Club’s structure and be able to work with the other stakeholders of the connected roles.
 
Level of commitment required
 
Once the existing systems have been brought up to date this role is likely to have a modest amount of regular activity, attendance of committee meetings 9 times per year. Once every year coordination of the submission to the Swim Mark Coordinator is required, and once every 3 years preparation of the development plan.
